The Nail Recording Studio

The Nail project studio operated in Tucson, Arizona for 2 decades, and continues on today as a tight and tidy commercial operation. It’s a place to belt or wail or sputter or croon. We make mellow melloooow and funky fuuuuuuuunky.

The Nail specializes in world music and vocal ensembles, but we’ve had the joy of recording everything from snowboard punk to rap, funk, bluegrass, classical, voiceovers, audio books, and many, many other fun and exciting projects.

Here is a sampling of some of the fantastic musicians we’ve been lucky enough to record at The Nail:

CatCall - Incredible a cappella from the University of Arizona, with award-winning arrangements, harmonies and vocal percussion.
